Horrible Nightmare About My Piggies!

Unfortunately too many of my dreams have materialised in waking life (both the good ones and the nightmares) for me to be able to dismiss the nightmare I had last night about my piggies. I had the boys out on my lap when suddenly a mouse appeared in among them. Then a cat jumped up. But the mouse just disappeared and the cat killed Peanut Butter with one quick bite to the neck. I watched horrified and paralysed as Hazelnut laid himself across Peanut Butter's body and then the cat also killed him with one bite to the neck. I then woke up with the feeling that Hazelnut had given his life up to die with Peanut Butter.

There is no cat in my household, nor do I have friends or family or neighbours who own one. A truly wretched dream and it has left me very shaken.

Nasty, hope you're okay now after that!

Before I had my piggys and looked after my friends, I dreamt there were piggys/hamsters in the top shelf of my cupboard and that they were falling out and ill and i couldn't look after them and arrgg it was horrible! Worst thing was it kept coming back and leaving me thinking it was really happening every time I woke up in the morning!

That's a really weird and rather scary coincidence, since just last night I had a horrible nightmare that some animal had gotten into the piggy room and had killed one of my pigs. I remember in the dream I was in floods of tears and very shocked. It was truly terrifying as I didn't even know which piggy had been attacked and killed, or whether they were all injured. I woke up rather panicky, remembering the dream and rushed down to the piggy room to check that they were alright! Fortunately, the piggy room was just as I had left it the night before and the piggies were happily munching on hay.

It's extremely scary when dreams seem very real - the night before last I had a very weird, very scary dream that the whole world had turned against me and I was climbing up the outside of a tower block to escape! I can clearly remember in the dream looking down at the ground below feeling terrified!

I have some very weird, strange dreams, some of which can be terrifyingly realistic and I end up waking up panicking - thinking that they were real!
Once again I hope you're okay - I know exactly how you feel, the dream I had last night has left me rather shaken too.

Aww Lily, hope you're ok. Dreams can seem so real at times, especially the bad ones.
My re-occuring piggie dreams always have the same theme, I'm walking through wood or fields and I find loads of pigs living in the wild. I try to catch them all and take them home.

Wow, I'm not the only then! Thanks very much all. It always helps when you know others have gone through the same thing and nought terrible has happened. And even the same night as with Puzzlepigs! I was apprehensive about going to sleep last night as that dream was on my mind but it did not re-occur. Instead I dreamt about ways to ensure their safety especially when outside at grass time!
