I went to look at a breeder yesterday who used to breed show guineas..... OMG she is not what she used to be, we walked in and she no longer breeds one type of pig but bits and bobs
guineas, one of the pigs had given birth and she said oh she had 7 but they all died, she still had one tiny little pig in with her, i asked if it was ok and she said oh it was born 12 hours ago, its dead, I said hang on its moving she said oh well it won't survive, I was very upset and couldn't get out uick enough AND she was selling sows that where possible pregnant.....
BYB me thinks.

sorry needed to rant its been mulling over all night need to vent @)

What a terrible attitude she has, these are living breathing animals she is talking about.
Pity if she has any children, how does she value them.

you know I am still carrying this issue, I am wondering whether I should call the RSPCA, they had water, veg and food, but this baby things got under my skin. what do you think? I don't normally stick my nose in but this was very wrong.

I would probably feel like I had to do something. Maybe yes, call the RSPCA and discuss what you saw and what your concerns are. I suppose the more people bring up welfare issue about piggies inc. questionable breeders the more likely it will be given some attention.

Let us know what you decide and how it goes.
xx

Defintiely call the RSPCA, she has deliberately not helped a sick animal.

This is just awful! Yh call the RSPCA and report her uncaring butt!, maybe shes not well or maybe its all about money now? But one things for sure shes not bothered or caring for sick/ dying animals and this is what the RSPCA will care about! The other issues yes but cant really do anything unless theres obvious neglect, tho a sick/ dying pup she just might be caught red handed so do it ASAP......
This turns me sick to my stomach that animals are treated in such a way....

Contact the RSPCA to voice your concerns and clear your conscience, then go and make friends with your local rescue :))

that sounds awful. i shudder when i think of the place i got my rabbits from. (before i knew about rescues)

report to the rspca.

That's awful. What a terrible attitude. Definitely speak to the RSPCA and don't forget to let us know how you get on. Poor baby piggy. I would've been really upset and wanted to bring it home, having successfully hand reared several baby animals.

Yep you're in a good position to report her to the RSPCA as you've seen them and their living conditions first hand. They would be wrong not to investigate, that woman needs to be stopped.
