Hi,

I let my piggie out the other day and i was holding her, and i felt her ears and they felt a bit warm on the back of them. I it just because she is warm or is there something wrong?

If its been sunny and they're red she could be sunburnt, or it could just be that she's warm.

My Bully's ears range from hot to cold, they change colour too depending on his mood! If he is grumpy they are bright red and I know no to try and pick him up. If they have been snuggled up they're bound to be warm, I'm sure its nothing - unless of course there is scurffiness and the ear is hard?

There is no change at all in the colour of them, hey just felt a bit warm, i dont think it is anything important, they look and feel fine. i think she might just be warm!

I think warm ears are perfectly normal. I love to snuggle and kiss Merlins warm ears in the evenings

I wouldnt think having a cold ear or a hot ear would be a sign of illness. The guinea pig could of just been warm.
