Hot Fox is currently running the London marathon, while we sit on our bums! :))

She's got a thread in the fundraising for rescues and announcements parts of the forum, but not everyone looks there regularly.

She's running for 2 charities, Diabetes UK and The Excellent Adventure Sanctuary.

She's currently on the last 5km of her marathon and is doing amazingly well!

I shall be donating £1 a mile because I can't even run for a bus, never mind 26 miles!

I'm doing the same Amanda - £1 a mile. Run for a bus? I get out of breath running a bath! :))

Hot Fox has completed her marathon in an amazing 5 hours and 41 minutes (I think it'd take me 5 days to do that!).

I've increased my sponsorship to £1 for every one of those 26.2 miles!

Hi! I only just found these threads! I was standing in a giant crowd feeling like I might hurl at any moment in pouring rain just after the race! It was so busy it took my family forty minutes to find me! I felt a bit better by then.
We decided to catch the train home and I had a lovely soak in the tub! I have been feeling fab since! Planning next time! Hee hee!
The whole experience was emotional, uplifting and tough. Crowd support was awesome, some T shirts made me cry, photos and messages on the back. Finishing is a priceless moment. I am coming down from the smugness! Time to write the Thank You cards now!
