Hot water bottle

Hi everyone,
Tonight i put a fleece hot water bottle in Daisey and Buttercups hutch as i heard Daisey sneeze.Thought perhaps she may have got cold.Their in an outside hutch as i have not any room in the house,they will be in their new shed soon but until then i dont know what else to do.Am i doing the right thing or not?:^-

Please make sure that the hot water bottle is not boiling and that you have wrapped in a towel or fleece.

You can also use a mountain of hay as insulation.

Hi wiebke,i only half filled the bottle and it is coverd with a fleece,the bottle is done up very tight.I do put alot of straw in the hutch where they sleep but was just worried about daisey as she is small for her age and wouldn't want anything to happen to her as i love her so much,any other suggestions you may have would be good,sue,x

i now use my nans very old stone hot water bottle as the two boys i used to have attempted to chew the rubber one!

Yeh,never thought about that,i often act before i think! They didn't like it anyway so i took it out,their be alright when i get my new shed but they wont have the same amount of space.Will just mean their be out for more hugs instead,xsue,
