Man today was a killer! I was baking my piggies where baking and my cats where baking. So I have a few useful tips
1.bring them in its way cooler if you can let them have a run on your cool floor
2 give them frozen water bottles wrapped in cloth
3 dip their legs in cool water then gently wipe over the rest of their body's
4 have a damp t-towel in their cage
5 give them plenty of juicy veg cucumber melon ect
6 dip all food in water to get maxim fluid in their bodys
7 feed them soaked grass
8 drape wet towles all over their cage
9take out pigglos plastic heats up quick
10 put a fan near their cage
 
I've taken out the plastic pigloos in my hutch and replaced them with cardboard boxes. Much cooler and it means the pigs get stimulation by making alterations to them!
 
I have just ordered my family of 5 a carrot cottage so they can munch on that when it arrives.:D Much tastier than a boring all cardboard box!:love::love::drool::drool:

Just rember to check up on them my piggy nearly died yesterday heart attack moment........ Had to slowly revive her wrapped a damp towel round her gave her some cucumber and dipped her legs in water warmed with hot water to take the chill of it guinea pigs die in this kind of weather sad but true just 1 more min and she would have been dead

Wow, glad to hear she's ok now. How horrible for you!

I have just dunked my piggies feet in a bucket with about an inch of cool water in the bottom. Three of them enjoyed it,:nod: the other two were less impressed!:no:

Yeah guinea pigs really don't like water mine hate it.They don't know what's good for them its so hard to bath mine they hate it but they feel cooler after and they just have to get over it quite frankly! Nice to hear you has a easier time with your 3 out of 5 success rate lol.

They REALLY don't like bath time!:no: They only have one two or three times a year! :vom: They did seem to enjoy the cool down though!
