Please take the time to read our comprehensive hot weather guide. Don't think you know it all. Just one trick may not be enough - the guide has the whole of tips that are possible AND safe!
The guide also contains information on heat stroke and heat exhaustion that can save lives.

One doesn't normally expect 28 degrees in September, but that's what is forecast for round here on Tuesday and Wednesday! Phew! 🥵

Got the ice packs out for the boys, Bruno is flopped on his bless him. Hard work being a hairy piggie x

Ready for a hot day. H&H are in the playpen in coolest part of the house, they are not impressed as I have removed the fleece tunnels that they had only just been given back.
Currently cooling everything, windows open.

I’ve got the bottles of water frozen and ready. It should be hotter today than yesterday. Nice for us but not for piggies.

I just had some new doors between the (South facing) sun lounge and the (north facing) lounge where the pigs live. Yesterday outside was 26, sun lounge was 28, lounge was a lovely cool 21! My lounge may be gloomy and dark but it's perfect for pigs during this weather.
