Morning all, I’ve decided it would be best to keep my piggies in the house for a couple of days due to the heat, although I can only fit the top part in my kitchen and not the run. Only one uses the run at the moment. Think this will be okay for them? Or should I move them to the bottom of my garden in the shaded part and keep the run there? My house stays really cool in the day with doors shut. Thought this would be best for them, but now I’m worrying and over thinking haha. I think even In the shade 38 degree sun will still be too hot for them with no breeze. Thank you in advance for any help xx

Thank you. I thought that would be the right thing for them. I know the space isn’t ideal, but it’s only for a couple of days whilst this weather passes. They’re only a few months old and I know they may overheat easily

:agr: It’s better to have reduced living quarters for a couple of days but in a safe controlled temperature. A smaller cage indoors is definitely preferable to a hutch outside for the next few days.

I agree with everyone else - a smaller space in a temperature controlled house for a few days certainly won't kill them, but leaving them outside might.
You have made the right decision to bring them inside - this heat is incredible.
