House from Ikea Trofast ?

Hello,
I am hoping to convert our Ikea Trofast set into a nice new home for 3 guinea pigs. 2 young (6 months) and one adult (2 years). I'm not an expert at all but I hope you don't mind me saying that I don't think that would be big enough for 2 piggies let alone 3. Even with 3 floors, the usable floor space would fall far short of what they really need. I would also think it would take a serious amount of lining the inside to prevent it falling apart with all the piggies urine. Just my thoughts but I'm sure a more qualified member will comment shortly.

Oooh heck, nice idea but sadly it’s way too small.
For 3 pigs living together you want 6ft length. As you are planning indoor, I would recommend c&c set up, easy to clean using correx as your base. A bit of work but worth setting it up in the long term.

I’m afraid the dimensions for the piece you have are far too small for 3guinea pigs. You can make incredible cages from Ikea book cases and racks but the basic frame needs to have a much larger footprint.
