Hi everyone I'm looking for some advice I have x2 6x2 c&c cages on stands but was looking to either do x2 6x2 stacked cages or to get a large catering table and have one set on top and another set at the bottom I would like to know what would you recommend and what would be the safer option as I will be bringing in a rescue piggie and looking to make space ready for the little fella when he is here looking to put him next to one or both of my boys already in a separate cage in either a 3x2 or a 4x2 please can I get some advice on what you may think 🤔 thanks I'm advance
Natasha

Hi
It's really up to you how you arrange the 6x2 cages, but you may find it easier with one on a table and one down the bottom (it would probably be more stable and easier to clean). As for the single boy you are adopting, a 3x2 is the bare minimum, so it is strongly recommended that you put him in a 4x2. Are you planning on getting the single boy a friend? 🙂

For me accessibility would be the main issue.
If you are fit and don't have issues bending and kneeling then you can go with whatever setup works best in your space.
However I started with cages on a C&C stand, but ended up putting one up on a table and the other underneath on a table top with castors fitted.
The one on the table top was easy to access and clean, and by having the second cage underneath, but on a wheeled table top I could easily pull it out when it needed cleaning etc.

Hey I was just talking with my husband and I want my lone male in a 4x2 cage thats why space wise we wanted to stack the 2 boys so I could have him in a bigger cage and I am thinking of getting him a friend and maybe putting both in a 5x2 but not sure on his background yet and what's happend to him for him being on his own but he will be next to one or either both sets of my boys so interaction through the bars and things but I haven't decided 100 percent what I'm doing but for right now he will be next to both sets of my boys so plenty of interaction through bars and things :)

That sounds good do you have a picture of it at all so I can look into it more please

I have back issues and issues with kneeling. But I too want a stacked cage for 2 pairs of sows . One on top one bottom but don’t want bottom on floor.

I read this date wrong. I thought it was made in Feb of this year.
