I dont know whether i have posted this already but it is tiring loosing one pig and caring
For another
Hoover is eating his syring paste well though he is not happy when i manipulat his bum
To get out any poos that are waighting to come out ,
I get the feeling he thinks i an trying to steel his caecotrophs (edibal poos )
He gives me a look of anger as if th say thay are mine

Just being a bit light hearted to try and chear my self up , it has been a rotten few days

Aww bless him! He sounds like a character! Stop stealing his noms! :P

HUGS

You are having a difficult time indeed! Great that Hover is doing OK and is stable.

Hover is still doing well on syringe paste , he got a bit fed up this afternoon , so i juiced some cucumber and mixed him a paste and he is now eating well again.

he is hopfully having those front fangs cut down to size , the problem as l remember it, is the difficulty arises in the whith of that type of malocclusion , it is not like a normal tooth , it is wide as it is thick , and cannot be clipped as it might shatter.

personally l believe this is why he has been losing weight , and not the neutering thing like my vet suggested?

anyway its going to be another long night as ideally he has another 2 x15 ml syringes to devour

wish the little man the best for tommorow

The little monster just weed on me :lol!::lol!::lol!:

Well, he is certainly doing well! All the best for today and for his peg tooth! weight loss can occur from either, the dental problem and from post op issues, so it is always a bit difficult to say, to be honest.

The next couple of days will be touch on go, he is so weak.

I am ever so sorry! I know what a caring piggy dad you are, Dave!

Sending BIG VIBES xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank Wiebke, l am so angry at my self, l forgot t ask vet to do another poo analysis.

It is not easy to keep a clear head when you are grappling with unexpected news. I hope that you can pull him through! You have lost so many of your furries this summer already. :(

Sadly l think still remember the very first one i lost, he was a brown Duch (not Toby) , each one is precious , l and l try and be there for them no matter how much it hurts me :soz:.

:shh:There was aldo a siberan hamster that died of a prolaps, but that was due to a stuped family member , :hb: :shh:
