Adult Guinea Pig
I can't post pictures today, as he lives at my friends house. Hovis is a 4 year old neutered Boar with a problem. He's lost some weight and has either an eye infection or hay poke. Friend has been given antibiotics and eye drops.
In the past ive dealt with sinus issues in Liqourice due to tooth root issues, so that is crossing my mind as well, but hoping its just pain related, and treatment should help, however I'm dubious about lack of pain relief at this time. He's registered under my friend with this vet, but under me at another vet, so keeping them as a back up, if we're not happy before xmas eve.
Views on weight gain to help him fight infection? I will get photos tomo morning, just incase any of you can see anything we're missing tia..
Just a small update, Hovis and Rolo are my two piggies who moved to a friends after my husband died in september 2019. My dog milo was stressing trying to share a room with them so for their safety, they moved to a good friend. She has adopted them both from me, but i do help with costs when treatment is required.
