COVID-19 How are you occupying yourself during lockdown?

I'm trying to catch up on my scrapbook. I'm up to Sept 2016 (wasn't a busy year) so still got a way to go. 2020 will read "coronavirus happened" so will take all of five minutes.

I've become slightly addicted to playing cooking fever on my laptop too but to try offset all the time at home I have started exercising.
 
OH works at home, he has a workshop in the garden and I am retired. So other than only shopping once a week and not being able to visit family not a lot has changed. I still have my daily walk but don't go so far and have changed to evening walks as there are a lot less people around and social distancing is easy. With the lovely weather we've had most of my time has been spent gardening. I have a list of decorating jobs to do but as we can't buy paint I'm ignoring it! I've also been making all the jigsaw puzzles I've been meaning to make for years. I refuse to join the conga and shop at smaller local shops, the best ones for conga avoidance are the ones that don't have carparks!
 
I’m an introver with social anxiety so I would go out for two hours a day before lockdown. I’m good at keeping myself occupied indoors :P

played an online drawing game where a person guesses what you are drawing
watched anime
watched guinea pig videos
played toreb/South Park and merge magic mobile games
and chat to my bestie

It's an American thing which might explain why the things they teach you seem a bit odd... or not.

I do Duolingo and I don’t get sentences that strange! 😂
Usually just a whole lot of bread and water

Really?! What language are you doing? I’ll try to remember an odd sentence and post it here after I’ve been on there.

PS got one. The woman speaks on the phone with her impossible daughter 😳

German. I only recently started doing it so I don’t know if the weird sentences just crop up later! 😂

Iam not doing much really finished tiding garden, look after my Guinea pigs and getting to know them and vise verse, and wandering a bit lost too.

I can read the treble clef pretty well, which makes learning violin a bit easier. So I am working on making good sound and creating good music on the violin.

If my music reading level is 10, my violin playing skill would be 2, which bring the average to around 6.

I played violin as a child. Could probably reteach myself. My parents searched their loft for my violin a few months ago when my youngest child became interested in learning an instrument but they couldn’t find it. My daughter has started to learn the piano. I’m thoroughly enjoying it as it is the instrument which I can remember how to play still!
 
I've been having a look at online courses I could do when I get my income sorted out (I'm owed some backpay!) I figured padding out my CV a little bit wouldnt hurt plus some of them look really interesting! So far I found a Small animal studies diploma, a guinea pig care and welfare certificate, Animal ethics and welfare diploma, Environmental enrichment...quite a bit to keep me amused for a while 😂

There was a nice big queue at Aldi when I nipped there on patrol for a sandwich. I parked the patrol car near the door, as I got out, I was beckoned to the front of the queue by a member of staff, went in, got my sandwich and when I got to the tills, they opened a closed one and served me immediately! I was in and out of the shop in under 5 minutes! :D
