Hi there, guys! Long time no speak. <3

Hope you're all okay...

I'm wondering if I could get some help on something...I'm worried about my Guinea pig, Leo.

I've noticed he's quite crackly when he breathes and he's got a runny nose and runny eyes. (The crackly-ness seems to come and go) He's eating fine, however. He's just made his way through a bit of cucumber and banana. (Bless him!)

I suspect it's a URI...But I honestly can't find a vet that's open today. Bloody hate Sundays. There are ones open for emergencies, I class this as an emergency because I don't wanna lose him; but I don't know if the vet would class it as one :(

What I'm asking is, how can I keep him comfortable over night?

Thank you for any help you can give. <3 x

It is an emergency and your the one paying for the privilege of seeing the vet on a Sunday, URI's can be fatal if left untreated.

I think I've found a 24 hour one...It doesn't mention if that includes Sundays but I'll phone and find out @_@

(He's just gone back to munch his cucumber again)

I'm literally looking for surrounding vets around the area I live. Some of them are just closed on Sunday and some of them are emergencies only between the hours of 10am to 1pm or something dumb like that.

I'll keep looking. >_< *worried* Vets should be open everyday, ugh. : (

Aw, poor baby :(
Daft question but your usual vet should have a recorded message of the nearest emergency one :{
I would keep trying, sounds as though he needs antibiotics asap :...
Keep us updated on how things go and sending healing vibes for Leo x>>
