How can they eat so much?!

This question popped into my head just now when I took my girls their evening serving of veggies and refilled their hay. The three of them were excitedly munching back and forth between the veggies and the hay, not once stopping their chewing in 15 minutes! Do their little jaws not get tired and sore?

They're so cute when munching though! I got dizzy watching all of mine speedily chewing salad. My daughter was laughing yesterday and exclaiming that two of them were tug of warring on a piece of lettuce but they had switched and were munching so fast I missed the first two. Watching cilantro disappear in one fast procession is not only funny but impressive lol.

I look at mine and think their jaws could power the national grid the rate they go.
Plus there is the fact that a piggy with claim to be starving 5 minutes after finishing s pile of veggies or hay.
Very effective food processors are these darlings
