I bought my piggies a hutch last week and its all set up for them to go in but I'm a bit paranoid about the cold LOL

Its currently 8oc dropping too 6oc over night, probably colder later on in the week.

They have a cover and a blanket on them, at the moment they live in an unheated kitchen that has the window open most of the time

Would they be ok outside or shall I keep them in...(The hutch is in a concrete covered gated out building)

I always keep mine inside until its 11 degrees over night. We had frost this morning so i think its going to be too cold for a while longer yet.:)

I agree with Linsday; 11 degrees is a good temperature to wait for. The 'ideal' room temperature for piggies is 16-20 degrees.
