Was just wondering what sort of temperature is too cold to have my girls go out in their run? It's 14C here today, but the wind is a bit nippy and there's no visible sun. It's the same temp in their shed, but obviously there's no wind to make it feel cooler.

I don't want to give them a chill, but would like to put them out if it's OK as they really enjoy their fresh grass.

Ii think i would have them in the shed and cut them some grass. xx

Thank you, I've decided to leave them in the shed. Just went out to check on them and it was bloody chilly with that wind.

I've opened the piggy flap so they can go into their attached run if they want, but I reckon they'll stay inside.

I'll put them out in 12-15 if there's sun, but in the wind... Well, they don't go out in the wind, because I sit out with them to keep stray cats from trying to break into the run, and well... I hate wind.

I work on the basis if I find it cold then it's cold for them.

I'd love for them to have more outdoor grass time but chilli...brrruuu :(

I'm the same as lil if its cold for me it must be cold for them.

I let mine run round my living room on an evening if they haven't been able to go out on the grass :)

It wasn't just the temperature that I worried about when I had my piggies, but the dampness of the grass too. Sometimes it actually felt quite pleasant outside, but if you put your hands on the grass it really was quite wet, and I wouldn't let my piggies out on that. Instead I'd go out with the scissors and cut some grass for them to eat indoors.
