Totally embarrassed myself today....Here goes. Whilst giving Brock and Theo their tickles earlier,I was giving Brock a tickle under his chin when I felt something that didn't feel quite right.Checking under his chin I found his fur matted, a hard substance and a little yellow in colour. So off to the vets I went. Sitting for 2 hours at open surgery we got to see the vet.Showing the vet what I had found,he had a good look...preparing myself for not so good news, I was told
.....it was dried Banana.Did I feel daft? Yes. The night before I had given them both the tasty treat...Brock must have enjoyed it that much he was saving a little for tonight as they only get it twice a week.Oh the joys of having pets....Sometimes I wonder should I have had children instead.

Recently did a silly panic trip to the vet myself. See my "messy boar behinds" thread. And I have had children!

I think so! The problem with pets of course is that they never get old enough to tell you what the problem is, so more panic!

Oh no! That must of been very awkward. At least nothing is wrong with Brock!

Very. The good thing though he gave them both a good MOT whilst there and didn't charge me.He said I'd made his day.To which I replied"Glad to be of Help" And he is well pleased with Theo he now as tiny hair sprouting back from where he lost it due to the fungal infection.

:)) we've all been there! It's better to go if you're worried and be told that it's nothing than to leave it!

my friend once called out the vet (at considerable charge!) to her horse as she'd found a 'hernia'.....turned out to be it's belly button! I had to laugh!:))

Aww I think you are sweet. It is nice to see how much you love your babies to ensure everything was okay.
