So I'm looking at increasing my heard of guinea pigs, because two squeakers is just not enough!

I'm looking at rehoming/rescuing some more, rather than shop bought so I was looking around the area. The problem is, I've now found two pairs of girl piggies that I'm absolutely in love with! One pair are gorgeous tricolours and a similar age to our own two; they also come with a hutch, bowls and so on. The other two are only little, but they're a pair of texels. I miss having long haired guinea pigs and these two are utterly adorable. Thing is, these two do not come with a home and so on, and I think purchasing a second set of everything would make them as expensive, if not more so, than the first pair.

In an ideal world I would get both pairs! But alas, I am not in a position to be able to afford both. =(

How can I choose between them though? It's really difficult! =o

What are you existing piggies? If they are female can you not put the two texels in with them?

A good way to decide is what I do sometimes on matters I'm stuck on and write them on bits of paper and put them in a hat. I shake the hat, reach in and take one out. Whatever one come out is the one I go with. :)

Are they going in with your current girls?
Is it possible to piggy date pairs of piggies with other pairs?

If they got on with one pair but not the other then that would be an easy choice ;)
Or pick the pair that would be the hardest to rehome if u weren't to have them.
Or would have the worst conditions to go back to if not rehomed by you.

Poor you what a decision to have to make- good luck. x

Might not be helpful but can you afford the four of them? :)) Then have six piggies!

The piggy dating idea sounds the best, let the piggies choose :) because if you choose a pair that your pigs don't get on with its defeating the object of why your getting them x
