One of my girls only eats burgess excel hay. If I give her anything else she will starve herself. This brand is so expensive for the amount I get and 500g lasts me 2 or 3 days. I want to get her to eat something else so I can get something better value for money and I literally dont know how. Whenever we've run out in the past and I've had to give her another brand (own brand stuff) she won't eat, a fact we only realised after she went down to 500g and had to go the vets. I know there probably isn't much I can do, but was wondering if anyone had any tips?

The usual advice would be to mix her burgess hay with a different type (burgess 90%, other type 10%) and then change the ratio over many weeks until she is only on the other type of hay.
The thing will be if she completely flat out refuses to eat anything other than the burgess then you may not be able to convince her otherwise
