Glinda has a sore on her tummy that was scabbing nicely...until she had a go at it. Now it looks a lot worse and I'm worried it will never get better if she keeps picking at it!

I was considering putting sudocream on it, but I'm not sure if that's safe if she were to lick it? I was also considering getting some wound powder, but again I have concerns over safety. How can I stop her from making the sore worse? :((

A couple of people have taken an old sock and cut it into a piggie jumper. I've seen that a fair bit on this forum, particularly to protect post-surgery wounds.

Why not give that a try?

My goodness - that's sounds like a brilliant idea! Her wound is fairly close to her lady bits - is it still a suitable solution? She's also long haired - will she be cool enough? I'm chuckling at the image of Glinda wearing an old sock :))

I have never used it as thankfully my piggies have been OK. It's worth a try at least, you never know! It might be a deterrent for her :)
You'd have to pick a pretty sock though, something that would suit her :)p
