How do they hold on!

Spike and Peanut had what looked like blood on their blue fleece yesterday so I switched them onto white vetbed. This morning there were bloody wee spots all over the cage. Both of them have recurrent bladder issues so I need to know which one has the problem so we know how to treat it. They are in a 4x2 C&C pen with a divider on a white towel. They have both been syringed pro c mixed in water, Spike 20mls and Peanut 10mls (all he would take) neither of them has done a wee in 2 hours. They are getting grumpy being seperated, Spike is now attacking the divider so I just let him out for a bit of a run round the floor in the hope it will shake his bladder up and cause him to wee. I'd be bursting to go by now, what huge bladders they must have! My OH says they are playing a game they are determined to win!

Jess amazes me with the size of her bladder! Normally when it’s all over me or my poor niece and coming from a less than 900g piggy it’s crazy at the volume!
Hope they pee soon and you can get them sorted, blooming bladders! x

For piggies who usually wee all the time it’s just amazing how they can sense you want a wee from them and just hold on to it. Little monkeys. Hope you can find out who is the culprit.

The things we do! Peanut has just done a clear wee . Spike is yet to oblige, he's had another 10ml of fluid, the other piggies are all out in the garden runs, Spike is going mad trying to demolish the pen so I'm going to put him out now and try again later. They aren't losing weight or eating any less or behaving any differently, they both have catease so I will keep them on watch for a few days and see how it goes, any change we will be off to the vet.
