How do you eat yours...

Ok, I’m a bit OTT around dinners, for all of us. I love to cook, and everyone gets homemade dinners, except Tony the pufferfish.
I live making the piggies dinners look posh, and it got me thinking, how do your piggies eat yours?
This was Higgins and Gibson’s Birthday dinner 2020...

probably excessive but they loved it!
Most dinners are slightly less grand, I have to admit!

Hand fed veg and scatter fed pellets. Nothing fancy!

Nothing fancy here either. Scatter fed pellets and veg chucked in their general direction.

measured amount of pellets in a bowl.fresh veg is prepared and scatterd onto floor of enclosure,apart from one boar pair where the dominant boar attempts to scoff his and his cage mates food,so i prepare two bowls of fresh food and place them as far apart as i can from each other in the hutch.hay is spread in piles all over the cage/hutch !

I just throw it in and they seek it out wherever it lands!

Until I put my specs on that looked like the sort of beautiful arrangement you might get from a florist.
When I found them and had a proper look I realised it was even better because it was edible - I'd eat that myself!

Well, that was how Higgins and Gibson used to live.. I have discovered our new little mite, Keith, is a food hoarder! We sat and watched him last night sneak his food into a corner, behind a cushion. He then tried to take the food from Gibson's mouth! Cheeky thing!

I like to bury their favourite bits at the bottom, gives them something to rummage for! If I scatter, Gibson just sits on what he finds, and it becomes inedible, if you know what I mean!
