I was wondering if anyone had any advice to get stains out of a white guinea pigs fur.
She is a long haired white guinea pig.

Welcome.
I bathe my long haired boy Finn when he gets dirty. I believe there is a tutorial on bathing piggies somewhere on this site.

Gorgeous guineas do a shampoo that’s good for white haired piggies. I’m pretty sure it’s the Lice n Easy one that brings white hair up a treat.

The easiest way is to prevent the hair getting wet in the first place by keeping it trimmed regularly. My girl used to wee on her hair then it would travel up and it was horrid for her. I quickly realised a bath and trim every 4 weeks kept her clean and dry!

It's not been that long and we all understood that you needed some time after your beautiful fudge eventually lost her fight. Mellow was another beauty

So, how about running a gp spa as well as sewing cosies!? I think not once you start your studies....which is very brave if you btw.

Hope to see more of you and your piggies on here

I did need some time, it totally knocked me for 6 even though I was expecting it for 2 years. Little Crunchie is over 7.5 years now so she's taking over with the extra care!
Nervous but excited for starting studying but the time is finally right to get my behind into gear!

Those are great photos!
My long haired boy Finn does protest during his hair and nail cut, so his hair cut doesn't come out as nice and neat as yours. Sometimes his hair cut come out super funny but that is the best I can do, :tu:

You remember! Mallow was a little gem 🧡. It's been that long since I was a regular on here I assume no one knows who I'm talking about when I post photos! Hope you are well x

You can't get away with it... I remember your gorgeous guineas too
I think the whole forum was in suspense & waiting with bated breath when the beautiful bug eyed Fudge went in for an op (spay I think).
The forum went very quiet until you posted a few days later, she'd come through successfully. :tu:
My new girl Tiggy has a similar face to Crunchie but hair like Mallows...
She's had a few bum baths as her botty hair was rather wet & widdly!
So I opted for a botty trim & now she's sporting a nice clean bum that smells as fresh as a daisy

She has reasonably long hair all round & just a trimmed botty :luv:

Guinea safe shampoo will clean them nicely, then trim out the excess long/stained hair & if there's no hair to be stained it's easier... I've always used Johnsons baby shampoo as I rarely bathe any of mine. But a lot of members use 'gorgeous Guineas' range of shampoos etc with good results.

Oh & a little snippet of info... Girls wee towards their back end & boys wee towards their front end... Might help decide on the most effective trimming areas xx

How gorgeous you are right about the face! I was so flat out after fudges op it was literally constant.. hourly feeds all night long for days. I actually had a bit of a meltdown during that and dared to tell everyone she was fine in case she didn't rally round. I sat and read through her picture a day thread last night, ended up in tears! I'm so glad I made that thread as I'll always treasure her journey xx

Bless you, it's not surprising you were in tears. It's obvious how much you adored her as a lot of us on here did too xx
