How do you keep them clean

My lot would wee and poo in that in seconds:(. I have some cuddle cup beds which I tend to line with an old towel, poos get shaken out as needed and when the towel gets damp it gets changed (at least daily) - that way I only have to wash the beds weekly.

good question. This was something on my list to ask. Not just that tunnel but all the fabric tunnels / cuddlecups / beds etc...

Picking up on Caviesgalore's hint about a towel, I notice in photos that many people use cuddlecups etc, but don't appear to line them with anything?

how do you all keep them clean?

I have cuddle cups and a fleece pet hut (think its a cat one). The cuddle cups are thankfully not used as a toilet only poos so they can be shaken out everyday. The fleece hut is a different story and has to be washed weekly as they have the odd accident in there and take food in.

I buy these ones from a lady off ebay and they are a nice size and and keep their shape. They are also only big enough for one so i find they dont take food in them.

I used to have one of those. Then I made the mistake of putting it in with three foster babies and it was chewed to death. T_T

I kept it clean by washing it twice weekly when I did the blankets that lined their cage. So they really only had it every 4-5days out of the week! Washed in the washing machine (no fabric softener) and then left to air dry.

My house is overrun with cuddlecups and cosies! My mum has taken to making, modifying and creating a whole variety of cosies. Needless to say, the pigs are seriously too spoilt for their own good.

I don't line them at all, just give them as they are. Sometimes I add a small blanket for the pigs to snuggle if I feel they'd appreciate them. Other than that, they last 2-3 days. They stay dry inside - the fleece wicks the urine away from the surface - and poops get removed daily, but they can get a little mucky and covered in hair. rolleyes

My mum has made my pigs some as they live outside. I stuff them with hay to make it extra warm.

They do use them as a toilet but i shake the poos out everyday. They don't wee a lot in them and even though they're made of normal fleece it gets wicked away and dries. I just wash them when they start to smell or look dirty, so that about every 2 to 3 days. I just shake as much hay off as possible, put them in a pillow case and then in the washing machine. If you put them in the machine put a hair band around the top as if the knot comes undone then hay and hair goes every where.

I have that snuggle reversible tunnel and Elmo loves it! He tends not to wee in it and I shake the poops off daily, he sleeps inside it and more often, on top of it rolleyes
