Aside from veggies, as that is quite obvious, how do you store your guinea pig food?
Right now I’m keeping hay, pellets, litter and Tiny Buddha’s sawdust in a cardboard box. I just used the box the hay arrived in, as it was just going to waste otherwise (or used as a hide)
The box sits by their cage in my room (I don’t have much space to put it anywhere else, and it’s good for it to be there for convenience and doesn’t look terrible) but if I see and good ideas on here I may steal them

Pellets in a Quality Street tin in a kitchen cupboard and hay in the bag it comes in with another bag over the top until it gets low enough to fold over. Spare hay in bags under my bed, I used to keep it in the shed but in the winter it gets damp. I'd love to find a better storage solution but we don't have room for any more large boxes or cupboards. One double kitchen cupboard is taken up with unopen pellets, newspapers, snugglesafes etc. Fleece is in blanket boxes in my bedroom and some large plastic storage containers in the greenhouse. These piggies have taken over, wish I had room to keep everything in one place!

They definitely do take over!
I have two massive tubs, one full of blankets/fleecy toys (they always have all their chew toys/wooden toys in the cage, and they just get shuffled about and replaced when needed)
And the big cardboard box with what’s mentioned in my first post, I will take a picture in 5 minutes (when I can be bothered to get off my lazy bum!)
It’s rather inconvenient, but it has to be done!

Here they are, pink tub is blankets and spare hay
Box is everything else
Note the hideously ugly spare grid I have no space for elsewhereE11FE3C5-D6E0-4450-8A5D-98E4B70AB9AD.webpDFF41326-6435-4BDC-9168-0A55FB6C1688.webpCCF684ED-761B-4F92-A808-AEE36DCAFAAC.webp

I have to move the big box when I need access to their cage, I just shuffle it over a bit so I can get in!

My boys live in a shed so my food and hay storage solutions are far from attractive! But I have a really nice four foot faux leather storage box which my daughter uses for her toys. It’s the sort of thing that would make a really good guinea pig equipment storage box and look attractive indoors

I keep my pellets in a resealable rice bag. Unless the pellets bag is resealable. Hope this helps.

I get their hay from Dust Free Hay and it comes in manageable-sized cardboard boxes so it just stays in them. Their pellets are stored in a plastic cereal container like this:

(It lives in their room though rather than the kitchen, so I don't accidentally have a bowl of Science Selective for breakfast :vom: ) Primrose has two favourite sounds: the rustle of hay against cardboard box walls and the rattle of pellets in their container!

I keep mine in a resealable rice bag, unless the pellets bag is resealable. My piggies are in the shed so I have to try and come up with ways to keep any rodents from getting in and eating all of it. 😂 . Hope this helps

Sorry everybody, I’ve been not getting/missing notifications

I’ll probably have to think of other storage solutions now because they will be downstairs, I would prefer to have their food/bedding take up as little space as possible!

I keep the hay in the bag it comes in (in dining room). And the pellets are kept in their bag under the stairs. Fleece and puppy pads are kept in ikea cloth boxes in the storage shelf and there’s one in front of their cage. I need to try and put everything away, especially the hay. It takes up quite some space near the table.

I’m contemplating getting a bin (or something similar) that I can just stuff the hay in

I store my hay in 2 plastic boxes - in my utility room - i have storage space under their c & c cage, storage in the conservatory.... basically pig stuff everywhere lol!
