Has anyone else used this powder for sick piggies? How well did it work and could you suggest better alternatives if it wasn't great? :)

I have just posted about this on another thread but here it is in case you missed it :)

I use Bio-Lapis as probiotic for my pigs if they are on ABs. It's dandelion flavoured & they enjoy it. I give them about 5ml 3 times daily by syringe. You can get it from VetUK online & other places. I haven't used the one you mention.

I use this for my older piggies, they tend to like the sweeter flavour so drink more, although they also have another bottle of fresh water to drink. Also all the piggies have access to it after surgery but if they are having ABs and have an upset stomach they will get fibre-plex.

DITO To that fibreplex is the best pro biotic I have ever used, I always have a stock in! and this is the best place to get it from cheapest on the web and usually delivered by return
