Does anybody know what is a safe height for cage sides to stop Guinea pigs from getting over?
Would they be able to climb over?
I was thinking of using these as my walls they are cooling racks..£1 each from poundland...they are 25cm x 25cm,is that tall enough?

Id say not. A c&c grid is 35cm and it is possible for them to get over one of those if they are determined enough

35.5cm is the standard C&C grid size... so these are slightly smaller . like above,, some might try some might not...

When I pig sat I had a playpen I would let them out in under supervision that was about 28cm tall. Definitely had a couple close calls; I’d imagine a pig could easily get out of something even shorter.

I have a determined boar who could & would easily clear that- he has to be in secure, lidded house/run/anything or he would be out every day:roll:

Ok so what if I could make it higher and bend the tops inwards slightly kind of like a cat fence,a bit like this but not as extreme...

That might work if it’s got an overhang, although you would need to make sure they don’t move any furniture they can stand on near to the overhang 😄
