how long would you leave it between being neutered and letting your piggy out on the grass? it's been two weeks on thursday since rufus was neutered and his wound is healing as well as could be according to the vets, but when i asked about outside time the nurse wasn't too sure. i even had him out in his run on the grass next to the girls with a medical sheet underneath to keep him clean but it's just not the same :( he's a lovely enthusiastic popcorner and loves time out on the grass - i feel a bit mean keeping him inside! x

Once the wound is healed up and dirt can't get into it (which it should be by now), he can go on the grass without any problems!

thankyou! it's been lovely and sunny here today, so i decided to get him out. he's been popcorning all afternoon and doing laps in his run enjoying the grass, he sends thank you wheeks otherwise he would have been in the house again today! x

Even though his wound is healed keep an eye open for any abcess developing . Sometimes happens after neutering though being on the grass wont be the cause ,it just seems to happen sometimes.
