How long did it take to know your piggie?

Perhaps it is because I don't have one yet but on any video that I watch, e.g. saying Guinea pig is angry, or sad, or happy etc, the wheeking all sounds the same to me :red

The only difference is the really high pitch loud ones and the little low ones.

How long did it take for you to understand all the noises they make?
 
I still don't understand all the noises they make. Generally I can tell unhappy from there appearance.

What I will say is you will be amazed how much you can tell and how quickly you pick up on illnesses when you have piggies. What I swear by is weighing my pigs this is a clear indicator when something is wrong.
 
I guess it depends on the person.

I know my boys quite well. I know when they want hay, veggies or nuggets and yes, they act differently depending on what they want.
I'm quite good at picking up on things in general, people, animals...Apparently I'm really good and reading situations and stuff.
All I know is, I know what they want. I do get it wrong now and again but I soon figure out what it is they're really after.
