How long do pellets keep ?

Being a new member I've got a few questions I'd like to ask ?

Pellets are in their dish all day for them. If they are not eaten , how long do they keep for , do they have to be thrown after so many hours or days ?

Feeding them veg , is it best to do this twice a day morning & early evening ?

put enough pellets in the bowl so that when you feed them next the pellets have nearly all gone, by doing this they have fresh pellets each day not a bowl of pellets that have been sitting there for days.
i feed fresh 1 x daily and make sure they have ad lib hay 24/7
