After a boar is neutered how long is it before the incision/s heal? I'm trying to figure out if my boar was really neutered when the rescue said he had been and not later.
I have no experience with boars so it may differ, but both my sows have been neutered. Beans wound healed quite quick, within about 2 weeks. Toast was spayed 4 weeks ago and her wounds are still healing, vet has checked it and is happy with it. I'd imagine they can have different healing times, like us?

Operation wounds should be fully knitted within 10-14 days, but it can take longer for tissue to settle down depending on the length and depth of the tissue.
There are different techniques for the neutering op, some of which do not leave much trace, and others that are more obvious.
It also takes several weeks for the anal sac and the cavity where the testicles were to contract again.
If you have rehomed from a decent rescue, then there is no need to question that kind of information. A rescue that pays much more for the care and neutering operation cost than it ever gets back from adoption donation has no interest whatsoever in lying to their adopters.
Please see a vet promptly if you notice any swellings that shouldn't be there, especially anything that is not quite symmetric. Abscesses can in rare cases happen until 6 months after the operation although the vast majority turns up in the first month post-op.
