So Fudge and Noodle have now been together for about 3/4 weeks.

Started off with the usual signs of dominance on both parts, but all seems well.
They still occasionally have a few tiffs, and chatter at each other mildly, and rumble a little.

and once for twice have a little fight in the cage. (what I mean by this is either Noodle or Fudge invaded each other's personal space and consquently a mad dash around the cage trying to avoid each other has led to panic and they end up bashing into each other etc).

Is this normal behaviour still? and how long can I expect them to continue like this before coming properly settled?

My old boys I had for over a year, and they were over 6 months when we got them and had always been together, and they still always had mad days like this, my current boys are 7 months and 15 months, have always been together as far as I know (although as a large group until December when they were taken into the rescue) and still display lots of this sort of behavior, I know things can settle down once they're over 15 months, but my old boys were older than this but would still have tiffs etc

Thanks that's reassuring.
Well Fudge is just over a year now, and Noodle, who I adopted recently is 3 years old. So I'm hoping once Fudge is a bit older things should get better.

If the fighting isn't seriouse, i should just leave them. I think it's just settling in that will get rid of the problem.grrrr
