People usually fall into two camps on this one:
- Every 3 months, a basic health check and worming with Ivomec and Panacur, and whenever necessary;
- Only when necessary.
I do feel health checks every three months - and worming - are worthwhile if you have a decent vet to do them.

I tend to only take my pigs when they need it. However I fully check them every weeks and also keep a written record of their weight on a weekly basis, that way an issues are picked up early.
I have never had my pigs wormed but they do not get to go outside (I live in a flat)and I was lead to believe that this would remove the risk of worms? Be interesting to know if this is true?
