Our piggies seem to love routine. First thing in the morning chunk of cucumber while we have our morning cuppa. Then breakfast around 7.30am any later and they start wheeking. As they have floortime until we go out they hover by the kitchen door. Then later at ten pm when news at ten starts they return to the cage to settle down. As we go up they get some supper. If they dont they will start. Any change to the routine they let us know and they sulk.

Yep mine do, Every morning the OH gets up first and does their meds and veg, then I get up a bit later and they are all sat waiting by their dry food bowls and then follow me about while I top up the hay. Evening veg is about 10PM and they all sit by the kitchen door waiting, then after that more hay and again they follow me about. If we are late with any of it they are very vocal about it, especially the skinnies. Oh they know when evening meds are too.

Mine just shout when they hear us in the kitchen and when they hear the bedroom door Veggies and pellets when I get up and hay if needed then second lot of veggies and clean out in afternoon (stay at home mum so with them all day)

It goes without saying that ours are the same. I can hear them wheeking when I'm in the shower on wheek day mornings and they can be heard over the hairdryer too! They all rush to the front of their cages for a wee pet until I take the bowls away and then all settle one by one when I give them their noms. Hay and nuggets are filled up too and then they have no time whatsoever for me from then on:Ayociexp118: All piggies are squeaking when Ali puts the key in the door after work and then it's tea time and the routine starts all over again. Around 8.30-9 p.m. they are all looking for supper and will wheek in unison drowning out whatever we are watching on tv and will not settle until veggies arrive but if you miss out the nuggets you've no chance of going to bed in peace as they know they have to get those too (even if it's just a tiny amount) and wont give in until you do.;)

Mine are the same first thing as soon as they hear me they wheek for veggies. Then from 6.30 they start pacing and watching me, this goes on till 7pm when they start a wheeky chorus and bar chewing that goes through the house from the upstairs piggies to the downstairs piggies, getting louder till they get their bowl at 7.30-8pm, if i'm late I know about it :))

If my lot haven't been fed by 8am, they shriek the shed down till they get fed. You'd think someone was being murdered the noise out of them! :))

Sometimes i hate piggy routines! They don’t seem to understand weekends...

5:30am my boyfriend gets up and gives them their nuggets for breakfast. (we sometimes get away with doing this slightly later if the pigs are feeling generous of course)

7:30am i top up hay and water bottles.

10:30pm veggie time.

I wouldn’t dare to ever not keep to this schedule, they have some mean piggy attitude when they’re routine is messed up! I just wish they would understand that i’d like to stay in bed longer on the weekends. Instead i have piggies chewing correx and pulling on the water bottle spout so it bangs on the side of the cage, it’s the only downside to having them in the bedroom, you just can’t ignore them. Such pampered little pigs, know exactly how to get their own way.

My pigs are awake from 10pm to sometime in the early morning and sleep all day. They do not like being woken up...
