How many pigs

not sure about the other hutch as i only know the measurements if they are in feet, but i have the Lavender lodge which has 4 in. That is enough as don't think they would have much room if there was 5. The normal rule is 4x2 foot hutch for 2 g.p and then an extra 1 foot each g.p added. Hope that makes sense.
 
5x2 is ok for 3. I have put 4 in the Lavander though when Amber and Pearl were babes and they shared with grown up Flora and Fleur. It wouldn't be suitable for them now they are adult size. :)
 
the general rule is 2ft per pig plus 2ft. (so that would be 10sqft for 4 pigs)

Louise if you have Flora, Fleur, Amber and Pearl living together, where do they live?
 
The girls live in a 6x2 C&C in the shed. It was 7x2 but when we lost Elora we were able to make it a bit smaller as with the larger size I had to step into the cage when I opened the door! :)
 
thanks :) how do you make sure it stays warm enough for them in the winter, do they have a heater?
(considering options as I may put all pigs together in one large group)
