4x2 ft is only enough for two guinea pigs. You need at least 5x2 ft for three pigs.

But don't ask me to convert into squre feet - I grew up with the metric system!

About 10.85 sq foot I think I did the calculation in my head.

Do you just multiply one by the other ... 4 x 2 = 8sq. ft? You would need 5 x 2 for three pigs, unless you are making an upstairs, that would give you extra run around space. xx

I did post the calculation in another post but here is how I calculate it

each grid being 14"

4 x 14 = 56 / 12 = 4.6

2 x 14 = 28 / 12 = 2.3

4.6 x 2.3 = 10.58

sorry transposed the latter numbers in the previous post

Jo 4 x 2 x 2 floors is okay. As its double the space right? Plus he hay loft.

Unfortunatly I have had a major space issue :(...8.... I have managed two floors one floor is 2x2 and the other 4 x2 is that enough space? The cag will be moving to another room and when that happens I shall give them more room in the bottom once I work out were they are going!

I think they will be fine with that hun, how's the ramp going? :(|)

I bet it will be okay with the upstairs. looking forward to seeing it.

You had enough grids and correx I bet!

It was difficult 8... and I don't have any fleeces, or anything for that matter, my mum is going to get my neice later so I shall go and get puppy pads and Fleeces, do Asda sell fleeces? Fred is being a wee :x to the girls!

Asda used to sell fleece throws and blankets so you should be able to get some from there.

Only problem is, I can't see my pigs 8..... it's all black 8... Going to tech them to come to the top for veggies hopefully they will learn quick they are back in the crap cage until I can get to Asda :(

I preferred my old cage 8.... once I move rooms I may have more room... to just have one floor!

:)) sorry shouldn't laugh but I have a semi invisible piggie to he's jet black against black correx I've trimmed down the correx to about 4 inches high so the light is better and he does show up better, get light coloured fleece hun it does help ;)

I can so relate to your wanting them in now go ask your dad you never know he might say yes

my lot use the upstair on my cage as a race track you should see the speeds they clock going down the ramp it is a tad scary they will get used to it! and then they will love it too! glad you got home safely!

Asda have some wicked red fleece right now that I quite fancy really cheap (1.50 a fleece). Did you have to leave all your fleeces behind?

Yeah I had to leave most of the guinea stuff behind... so upset about it! But I got my Tunnels and pouche from Pollie with a wee card for my new home, well old home but new again! Which cheered me up! Really I have to sleep so grumpy!

Want to upload pictures though..my camera broke, my mums I can't find the cord for :(...

My phone won't install drivers and I took loads of pictures too Ahhh!

2 x 4 grids equal ca. 1 metre square and are enough for three piggies.

1.5 metres square in total is plenty for three!

As far as I know Asda sell fleece.

I am old so know that 4x2 foot is 8 square feet. You would need 5x2=10 sq feet.
