How Many Times A Day?

How many times a day do you give your pigs veg? And how much?

I was thinking twice a day (morning and evening) and perhaps a child's plastic plate full?

What do you lovely lot think/do?

I give mine twice a day.

out of the 4 they get.

1 savoy cabbage cut in half for each cage then cut into smaller pieces.
1x green bean per piggie
1 x cucumber per piggie
Half a celery stick cut up and divided equally between the two cages
10x coriander per cage (5 per piggie)
1x pepper each cut up into small pieces
Occasionally some dill as a treat, too.

Wow! That much? 1 whole cucumber and bell pepper each (plus the other stuff)? Is that per sitting, or a day?

My pigs get fed once a day just because that fits around my schedule for work a lot better, they get their veggies and pellets on an evening roughly one handful of whatever veg I have in at the time and on a morning I give them a quick "oh you're alive and look fine and you have water and hay right byyyyyyye" when I'm at work :-)

Mine 4 get ones a day, in the evenings and they get their routines mix (i have a rota on the fridge) in a flat plant pop type bowl about the size of a plate.

Mine get once a day in the evenings too. Hay/Pellets and water topped up morning, then veggies in the evening.

Mine get little snackies all day...but they are very tiny pieces...probably 4-8 times a day they get something, but they are in my office next to my computer and desk, so when they squeak at me, they usually get something. One of my piggies has a sensitive tummy, since I've had her, if I'm heavy on the greens (actually, not even heavy with them, pretty much more than just a little tiny bit) she get's soft poo that sticks to her foot...she is OK with other veggies, but I really have to watch anything green and leafy, like herbs, clover, spinach, anything like that....
