Hay everyone I'm getting my guinea pigs in a couple of weeks-so excited.. :(|) Now getting down to the last few bits on my list to get for them..

Should i get 2 water bottles for them-so they have one each?

Also should i get them seperate food bowls?

I think i have a rough idea as to what they eat.. i have seen the list of foods.. Where do you get dandellion greens from?

So as a rough guide for there food for example in there bowl daily to put in would be - carrots, cucumber, celery, lettuce (not ice berg), pear, strawberries, kiwi etc would all this be ok on a daily basis? Am i missing anything else?

They have hay everyday and i have bought some guinea pig food.. is this all ok??

xxxxx

are you getting boys or girls? for girls i would have one food bowl and 2 water bottles simply because of the weather. for 2 boys 2 of everything.

i think dandelion greens are just basically dandelion leaves picked fromt your garden along with dandelions but i may be wrong.

have a look in the food section there is a sticky on safe foods.

fruit should only be fed once or twice a week as its high in sugar, carrots shouldnt be fed everyday either but i cant remember why. and cucumber is mainly water and therefore not really classed as a veggie for vitamin purposes (well i dont class it as one anyways) :)

unlimited hay always and guine apig nuggets are better than museli foods.

hay

Hay thank you for your help.. So if they cant have carrots everyday and cucumber is water based- what would be good to give them each day? xx

They could have a variety bell peppers, spring greens, curly kale, some brocolli, corn on the cob:))

I have 2 sows and I only have 1 water bottle, food bowl etc... and I have never had a problem but you might especially if you get boars
