How much are your vets consultation fees?

sorry piggiesforever, i forgot i spoke to you via PM! such a wally sometimes!
 
I was £11 for a consultation and to have my gorgeous piggy boy put to sleep (because he'd suffered a stroke) 8...:laluot_10:

I thought the price was quite reasonable though.. I was £8 (and some random pence) for a consultation with my hamster (who had a tumour 8...)
 
I pay around £8 for the consultation for the piggies, its £22 consultation for the dog!

When lois had her surgery and I had to keep going back every week for about 1 1/2 months for antibiotics they didnt charge me consultation charges then because it was after surgery care i think, i just had to pay for her meds.
 
Moonie are you sure they didn't quote you for rabbit consultation fees? I'm sure I don't pay £23 for a consultation (might be wrong, but don't remember it being that much it's usually around half that?!), will be interesting to see what your bill is after your visit.

hi, no they said it would be around 23 pounds, she was quite young on the hpone though so may have got this wrong. Its more than what i would pay with my vets currently, but less than my 40 pound quote so will go with it. will take my little baby when he comes to see them for a check up!

I shall let you know what they bill!
