I tried my girls for the first time with banana today and they loved it. They only had 2 small pieces each though as they have already had loads today  :D I'm just wondering how much banana to feed as I understand that they mustn't have a lot due to the fibre and constipation. It will be as a treat only but I am not sure how much to feed at a time  ?

I give Spike some as a treat so every few weeks, he adores it, but only when its really ripe. I usually give him half a baby banana, I don't like the big ones so I get my dad to only buy the baby ones XD

I give Sunny one slice a day but that is because it is high in magnesium and may be contributing to his legs being better. Because he has plenty of other "wet" veggies, he is fine with it :) The others get it occasionally as they are not fussed on it ;D

I've only tried my girls with banana once and they seemed to really enjoy it. I put the skin in afterwards so that they could have a wee munch on that too.

Mine get a whole bannana skin and all once a months i cut it in a fewpieces and watch them play with it, steal it form each other, run away with it in there mouth then eat it last ;D ;D

I usually have a banana for breakfast myself and each of my girls get a little bit (about the size of a fingernail) each morning. I've never noticed any problems with that amount. I've never tried them with the skin so may give it a go.
