Hey everyone
Now that I only have squeak, I'm unsure of the amounts of veggies and pellets I should be feeding her. Can anyone help? :)

With pellets I would just put a few out with a regular top up as necessary, they don't tend to eat more than they need. A little fresh grass once the weather settles down. With veggies if I divide by 4 what I'm giving 4 piggies it comes down to about 1/2 a medium carrot per day, 1/8 medium pepper, 1/8 of a small apple, 1 leaf of Romaine lettuce, 1 or 2 florets of Brocolli or a little Kale, 2.5 cm of cucumber plus if you eat Melon they love the outer yellow skin with a little bit of flesh on it (about the same amount as cucumber). Mine also get the ends of tomatoes used for sandwiches. It's all down to what they like. Mine also get Readi Grass & a little porridge oats plus of course, lots of hay.

Thank you! I have been doing that with the pellets so that's good.
I might just give her a bit more veg than I have been as it doesn't seem I'm giving her quite as much as you said! Squeak is gonna love you because what you said means she gets more veg haha! :))

From experience if you give them too much they'll leave it so I try to gauge it so they've got an empty dish by next meal time. I do their veggies usually at about 8am & 7pm. Also piggies living alone tend to eat less because they don't have the competition & don't need to stuff themselves.

Mine have a small handful per piggy each morning i see pellets as secondary to hay and veggies so these have to last till the evening. They get unlimited hay and veggies first thing and in the evening at around 7pm.

when we lost ches i remember it being so strange making up only half a plate of veg. i even made the full lot by mistake alot of the time. i just halved the veg i would have normally made and they didn't have many pellets anyway at night, so i just put the same small amount, as i figured maisie might need the extra anyway after the stress. turns out she did as she lost some weight after ches passed. x

I can see from your avatar picture that they certainly enjoy the veggies.

I was the same when we lost Madam in February. I'd been that used to making up 2 dishes for 4 piggies. I always seemed to give them too much. We're now back to 4 piggies with the addition of Minnie who seems to have bonded OK with Minky so far.

Mine love their veggies, the noise at 7pm from 10 piggies is quite something. Anyone would think i starve them :))

Mine get 1/8 cup pellets each per day, but as all are in pairs they get an eighth in the morning and and eighth at bed time, then veggie time about 7pm (1 cups worth per pig) consisting of mainly greens. I don't feed them carrot or apple that often as I feed them harrington's optimum pellets, which contain dried apple and carrot. I agree with stewy, If you have pigs housed together they will eat faster due to the competition, and less of they're on their own x
