I'm getting 3 girlys in about 4 months. I know that they should eat hay as their main meals and have in avalible 24/7 but how much pellets and veggis should they EACH get a day? Thanks for the help! My future piggis thank you! :D

Will they have separate bowls? If so, I give mine a lettuce leaf or two each, a little scatter of celery (5 pieces or so each). A slice of red pepper each. As for pellets, about an egg Cup full. I just make sure there's always a few in their bowls.

Thanksyou! that is really helpful :D

I give my two boys:

unlimited hay plus a handful of timothy hay which they love
a handful of pellets between the two of them daily
50g each of vegetables, including lettuce, tomatoes, celery, cucumber etc (the variety changes daily)
a pinch of dried leaves and herbs

I feed them their pellets in the morning, which is usually all eaten by midday. I don't add anymore until the next day otherwise all they would eat would be pellets. Hay is their main diet. I feed them their fresh food morning and evening. They have unlimited hay and get a handful of timothy hay daily.

My (just!) 9 year old daughter went off with her scoops, pellets and scales and came back with this information for you!

About 60g for all of them or 18g each whilst they are pups then 108g for all of them or 36g each when they are a bit older. They like Burgess Excel with blackcurrant and oregano.

Aw, thank you. When I was growing up we always had lots of animals, and their welfare and happiness was always the top proirity. We had to show our parents that we had a thorough knowledge of the care any pet was going to require, and I am trying to do the same with my daughter. We have a saying in our family: Our pets aren't spoilt - they are well-loved.
