After Pippa passing her bladder stone we were told to continue using the rest of the baytril. This time the vet gave us some probiotic pro kolin entrogenic. She told us to put a sprinkle on her food once a day, however were having to syringe it to her as she doesn't eat anything with it on. This doesn't seem to be doing anything and shes still following her cage mate Maisy around constantly looking for her poos and sniffing and licking at her bum which is causing squabbles and were having to separate them a lot. I'm worried about her because shes while shes constantly looking for poos shes forgetting to eat and drink. I'm wondering if we should use more probiotic? Theres a guide on the back of the sachet on how much we should give her depending on her weight, should we ignore the vet saying a sprinkles worth and follow that instead? Also if she continues to not eat should we be syringe feeding her? She eats sometimes just not as much as she normally would. I am aware of the poo soup we could make but my mum has terrible ocd and won't let me do it.

Give 1 pinch of probiotic 1-2 hours after the antibiotic, either sprinkled on a bit of her favourite veg or mixed in 1 ml of water and syringed in 2-3 mouthfuls.
