Just a quick question really ...

Should hay be available to them all the time? I was just about to go to bed when I noticed their hay rack was empty. I filled it for them and they're munching away on it now ... should I have waited until morning or should they always have some available?

As Rachel said, always available. Ideally give them more than they will eat within a 24 hour period so that they don't run out, and/or top up the hay each evening as well as morning. Hay is essential for healthy digestion and dental wear.
