sorry if this has been covered somewhere else.
i have 2 boys bert and rocky. theyre about 10 weeks old so fairly tiny, but i just cant seem to fill them! every morning i give fresh water and a bowl full of guinea pig pellets. later on i usually give half a lettuce and a carrot or half a cucumber, or a corn on cob, a bit later an apple cut up. i usually fill their bottle again before i go to bed. when i get up in the morning they are ready for another bowl of food. they have constant access to hay and i put them in the run on grass which they eat 2 times a day for approx 2 hours each.
is this about right? am i not giving enough?
also they arent very vocal compared to other pigs ive had. they squeak a little just as I'm picking them up and only occassionally to each other. are they happy? they seem it! they have toys and things to do, and i handle them regularly. they just seem quiet!
paranoid mum? me? never
