hi all the different sites state different amounts for veg etc and it can be quite confusing.

can anyone give me an idea on how much ? and how often these vegs can be given please ? and if they are high or low in calcium and vit c ?

carrots
lettuce (curly)
asparagus
green red yellow peppers
cucumber
courgette
green beans
cress

peppers are good for vitamin c, not sure cucumber has much nutritional value, but mine love it, has a good water content.:)

I think aslong as you're not giving them *LOADS* every day, they should be fine with a little bit, often!
It's known that piggies dont make their own vitamin C, so certainly, it's very important to make sure they get lots of some of the veggies you mentioned!

Cucmber, carrots and broccoli are quite good to give often, the carrot gives them something to gnaw on to keep their teeth in good shape, the cucmber is very high in water content so good for them in this hot weather, and broccoli has lots of good vitamins in it.

I usually give my piggies the above three every day, but give soggy things like lettuice a little less often. Asparagus is a treat as it's so expensive!
