I was just wondering how often you give your pigs a cuddle? I get the big one's out at least once a day, bit harder with the much faster mini pigs:)) Bella's not a big fan of cuddles, peppa will sit with me all day if I let her

Bella and luigi are like that. They're not fussed if I pick them up or not! Peppa however will come right up to the front of the cage and go round in circles till I pick her up:)) she loves to have chin rubs and hugs

Not as often as I'd like, but a mixture of being at university and having 20 piggies to give cuddles too it's not surprising! My married couple are quite happy to be left alone (the sow doesn't like cuddles and if I take the man-pig they both protest and want to get back to each other), my pair of boys get the most cuddles and my big herd all get cuddles from time to time but they can entertain themselves much better than I can entertain them! I'm just their source of endless hay, veggies and readigrass! :P

My girls aren't a cuddly bunch and all run and hide...but I get in with them every morning when they have a clean and give them a quick cuddle (and the long haired one a brush!), and try to get them out a few times a week for a longer hug.

The girls aren't too bothered about cuddles, Rebel struggles until he realises, "this is nice!" and he settles down. Bart is a big old softy and would let you cuddle and kiss him all day long, he just loves being picked up and cuddled. :)

Ive got 10 pigs - but i don't really 'get them out' for cuddles - i do however spend an awful lot of time stroking them in their cages.

Elvis: doesn't really do humans - he's very gentle but much prefers his 'own kind'

Shadow: loves attention but will only tolerate around 10mins lap time - he does however love exploring

Summer: loves chin rubs and will sit for hours while you stroke her - lap time she isn't so fond of and will fidget the whole time

JJ: she tolerate lap time for around 15mins until she needs to 'pee'

Wexford - loves lap time and will spend an hour or more sleeping on you - he loves attention all the time and bites the cage bars when he wants some fuss :)

Tulisa - like Wexford she will lie down and go to sleep on you - she cannot really handle much more than 20mins though

Charlotte: She's only young so again only tolerates about 10 mins before she tries to get away - unless of course you supply her with food the whole time :))

Homer - loves cuddles - will spend up to 30mins before he's ready to go back

LB - pretty much like his dad (Homer)

Brianna - she will let you hold her like a baby and doesn't make too much of a fuss to go back or indeed tell you when she needs the toilet, so you pretty much have to take a guess and hope she doesn't leave you a little wet gift ;)

With a mixture of boys and girls - we do have to be very careful of smells being transferred, hence why we don't really delve too much in to lap time - they get their attention in other ways (and a constant supply of it too - if I'm not talking to/stroking them, my partner, son or daughter is)

my pigs get cuddled every night. they dont like the picking up process, but once they're settled they seem to like it, especially roger!

I dont (CANT) cuddle my piggies often...

Sweet Pea get the most
then Pete
then Smokey
then Ninja
then finally Daisy

All is in temperament order...

it's harder to cuddle Smokey and Daisy as they are only 9 months..

All mine are very young, no older than a year ..
Thats the reason!

twice a week when i clean them out :red

its a mixture of being at work a lot of the time, having nowhere really to cuddle them and them hating being caught so each time i clean them out they pop into their cat carrier so I can put them out the way and then when I am finished I cuddle each one as I put them back in, that way they get to enjoy the cuddle more as I havent rushed them around catching them, they get to go back in their nice clean pen afterwards.

I do however invade their pen every day and talk to them hand feed them and sometime I can tickle flash's chin so its not like I dont give them much attention.

"Sharon put those pigs away" I'm always sneaking a cuddle :red At first it was so they got used to being handled and weren't frightened...now I have to have at least one cuddle off both of them a day and a kiss :)) (which they squeak in protest at)

mine typically get cuddles 3 times a day from various members of the house the only one who gets cuddled the least is Ben our feral pig he's really hard work to cuddle as he's so damn scared of everything

I cuddle my girls every single day. If I dont I miss them so much and really crave for them to be in my arms.

Our boys get lots of cuddle most days. Some of them love more cuddles than others but sometimes they object. Our boys are all under a year so pretty scraatchy and wriggly still.

Our piggies get too many cuddles!
Cookie one of our boys is especially cuddly because hes so silky and 'squigy'
Snowball gets cuddles but his hair is coarse to doesnt feel as nice as Cookie.

Our girls Lottie and Bonnie have LOADS of cuddles, they are just so adorable.
I think for 3mths old they are incredibly confident and thats because they are handled a lot.
When we open the cage door cheeky Lottie comes half way out and lets you stroke her-she is after a treat though. :))

Mine get big cuddles about 3 times a week. I often sit and fuss over them in the mornings and evenings, like when getting ready for work and coming in from work.
Ralph quite likes cuddles but Arnold isn't really a fan.

They see a lot of me but sadly don't get cuddle time every day. :(

Everyday

Larry - Loves being picked up , hates lap time (unless theirs veggies involved )

Garry - Hates being picked * , Loves lap time.

Strange pair of pigs.

Every day, the little cuddle monkeys :)

Every day they get short but intensive cuddles before and after they go out for their evening run around. Cash sometimes lets us give him a quick stroke whilst he's out for his run.

At the weekend they get a cuddle in the mornings too when I come downstairs, and they get extensive lap time in the evenings as well. xx>>>xx>>>

Sometimes I give them each a cuddle, sometimes there's only time for one or two. The older girls will come out, stand by my feet and wait to be picked up - they regard cuddle time as a duty their slave must perform. (They are free range piggies). The two younger girls are more skittish and harder to pick up, but they love the cuddles and attention.

I like to sit in the conservatory on a low stool and simply be with them, they wander around me (got any food, slave) and taste my footwear (mmmm...might be food). So we connect through that as well as cuddles, and my 'quiet time' with the piggies allows me to spot any poblems wih them as well.

At the moment I am trying to cuddle the smallest girls every day, so the older ones are losing out a bit. Carmilla (older white girl in the avatar) is getting more demanding as a result! She was standing on my foot last night.....
