how often should i clip piggys nails ? and also they are only 12 weeks old,,will they need clipping yet ?

i wait until they are at least 6 months old before clipping them.

if they are kept indoors once a month should be enough, if they are allowed out on concrete in the summer they will need doing less.

hi thanks for the quick response,,they live indoors,,i do have a concrete paving slab in the running around area,,not sure if that helps though !

thats ok. i tend to cut mine every 4-6 weeks but they are all indoor. with no concrete or anything, you can usually tell by looking at them when they need to be cut. one of mine was nearly 10 months when i first cut hers. so it does vary by piggy. whilst they are still thin and sharp they dont need cutting.
