I got my guinea pigs a week ago exactly tomorrow. Kiwi is 5 months old but Rylee is just over a 1 month old, and really little. They kind of stink and I wanted to clean them and give them a nice bath but I don't know if little Rylee is old enough to be bathed.. What's your opinion?

Hes probably a bit too young. He sounds like he is too young to be rehomed/sold too. What bedding do you keep them on? This is probably the reason for the smell rather than the actual piggies.

Welcome to the forum.

Baby piggies shouldn't be bathed before 6 weeks old and technically piggies dont actually need bathing, some do get muckier than others tho. For now you could try some animal wet wipes, i think johnsons make them, try your local pet supplies place, pets at home or amazon, you should be able to find either a type of wipe or spray that you can clean their bottoms with without actually bathing them :)

thank you both! :)
She was sold at 5 weeks old, I read that they only to be over 3-4 weeks old to be sold, so was it early? I don't know.. Also, I keep them in fleece and there's bits of newspaper for them to pee on, but they're a mess, lol, and they even pee inside their sleeping sack.. aggggh :(

Bedding is personal choice, but if you are going to keep them on fleece then you need to clean up every day, and change the fleece for washing every day or two. I'm not keen on fleece, I found it smells also. Check out the bedding section here for ideas.

Good luck.
